What is Climate Change?

It is widely accepted that emissions of greenhouse gases, like carbon dioxide and methane, from human activities are causing global warming and a change in the earth's weather patterns.

Click on places on the map to find more information about the effects of climate change around the world. The effects are often felt more dramatically in nations who are the poorest and least able to cope with the changes.
